What a great term P6 have had! We settled in well and have worked hard on data handling, division and multiplication in maths. We also had lots of activities during Maths Week.
In literacy we have been reading Mr Stink and learning reading strategies, like summarising and inference. We have revised parts of speech in grammar and written stories, reports and letters.
We had a brilliant Health Week and have been doing ball skills in PE.
We’ve used watercolours in art to produce Antarctic paintings, to connect to our Explorers topic.
We went to Dundee to stand in the footsteps of Captain Scott on board Discovery and have been finding out about modern Antarctic Explorers from Luke Robertson, the first Scot to ski to the South Pole on his own.
