P3 really enjoyed their morning at Aberdeen Science Centre on Monday. They took part in two workshops, Magnetism and Science on the Spot, and had some free time to explore the exhibits on the exhibition floor.
The class learned about the invisible force of magnets and investigated magnetic and non magnetic objects. It was interesting to learn that not all metals are magnetic. The most fascinating fact was that Earth is a giant magnet! It was also interesting to learn about sound, chemical reactions and friction while watching experiments.
Thank you to everyone at the Science Centre, our parent helpers and Mrs Gregor. We hope they had as much fun as we did!
